A step-by-step guide to your leadership coaching experience. Solomon is designed to be intuitive, but this guide covers everything you need to know to get the most out of every session.
Solomon is a private coaching platform. You'll need your unique access code to begin. This code was provided to you by your coach when you started your coaching engagement.
Navigate to your Solomon link. You'll see the Solomon lock screen with the tagline "Wisdom for the moments that matter most."
Type your unique access code into the field. Your code follows the format TBI-XXXX-XXX and is case-insensitive. Then tap "Access My Coaching Session."
Once authenticated, Solomon opens directly into your coaching workspace. Your name and access code appear in the top bar for reference. You're ready to start your first session.
Your profile helps Solomon tailor every session to who you are, what you do, and how you think. It takes about two minutes to complete, and you only need to do it once. Everything is optional.
Tap "My Profile" in the top navigation bar. A panel will open where you can enter your information.
Your profile has three sections. Complete as much or as little as you'd like.
Your name, what you do, what world you work in, and whether you manage others.
What you're trying to get better at, and what people already come to you for.
Add results from any personality assessments you've taken: DiSC, MBTI, Enneagram, CliftonStrengths, and more.
Tap "Save Profile" when you're done. Your information is stored securely and will be used automatically in every future session. You can update it anytime by returning to My Profile.
Every session begins with Solomon asking you a few focused questions. These aren't a form to fill out. They're the start of the coaching conversation. Answer naturally and honestly.
When you start a session, Solomon opens with a greeting and asks his first question. If you've used Solomon before, he may reference your previous sessions.
Solomon asks where you are in your leadership journey. Tap the card that best describes your current role. This shapes the language, tone, and depth of your entire session.
Solomon asks whether this is a work situation or a personal one, then asks you to identify the general nature of the challenge. Tap the option that fits best.
Difficult conversations, conflict, feedback, trust, team dynamics
Boundaries, burnout, confidence, visibility, self-doubt
Competing priorities, unclear path, strategic choices
Underperformance, culture issues, driving results
Made a mistake or want to change a previous answer? Tap on any of your previous responses (they show a small pencil icon) and Solomon will restart from that point. Everything after your revised answer will be rebuilt.
This is where Solomon differs from other tools. Instead of immediately generating advice, Solomon explores your situation first. He'll ask follow-up questions to understand what's really going on before offering guidance.
Solomon asks you to describe what's happening. Be as specific as you can: who's involved, what the tension is, and what feels hardest right now. The more honest and detailed you are, the more precise Solomon's coaching will be.
After you share your situation, Solomon will ask one or two follow-up questions. These are specific to what you just said, designed to uncover what's underneath the surface. Answer them the same way you'd answer a trusted coach sitting across from you.
Before Solomon builds your coaching response, he asks two final things: how urgent this feels (which affects the pacing and intensity of his recommendations) and what you want to walk away with (which keeps the advice focused on your actual goal).
Solomon takes a moment to build your personalized coaching response. You'll see his logo mark while he works. The response is built from everything you shared across the entire conversation, not just a single field.
Solomon's coaching response is organized into clear sections. You can navigate through them one at a time using the section tabs, or scroll through the full response.
A concise framing of your situation and what Solomon is addressing. This is often not what you think the problem is on the surface, but what's actually driving the situation underneath.
Solomon identifies the underlying leadership challenge. This section names what's really going on, which is the foundation everything else builds on.
Five to seven concrete, immediately actionable steps. Each one is a specific behavior or decision, not a vague concept. If your situation is urgent, the first step will focus on stabilization.
The centerpiece of your session. Depending on your challenge type, this might be a word-for-word conversation script you can use, a boundary plan with specific language, a decision filter with ranked questions, or a practical framework you can apply immediately.
Four questions designed to push your thinking beyond the immediate problem. These are meant to sit with you after the session, not be answered immediately.
A sequence of concrete milestones to work through at your own pace. Each milestone describes what to do and what signals completion. The final milestone includes a return trigger that tells you when to come back for your next session.
At the bottom of your results, you'll find options to copy the full session to your clipboard or export it as a PDF using your browser's print function. This gives you a clean record of every session.
Your session doesn't end when the results appear. Solomon invites you to engage with his recommendations, ask questions, push back, or explore what's still unresolved.
After delivering your results, Solomon says: "When you're ready, you can ask me about any part of the response, push back on something that doesn't feel right, or tell me what's still unresolved." A text input appears below.
Solomon's follow-up responses are conversational, not structured. He'll defend his recommendation, adjust it based on what you're telling him, or help you think through a specific detail. This is the dialogue portion of the coaching session.
You can continue the dialogue for several exchanges. When you feel you have what you need, tap "I'm good, end session." Solomon will close with a final thought. If the conversation has covered substantial ground, Solomon may suggest wrapping up and returning for a fresh session when you're ready.
Every session is saved automatically. You can review any previous session in full at any time.
Tap "My Sessions" in the top navigation bar. A panel opens showing all of your past sessions, listed by date and challenge type.
Tap any session card to expand it and see the full coaching response: summary, root issue, action steps, the applied tool, reflection questions, and milestone plan. Everything Solomon delivered is there.
Over time, your session history becomes a record of your leadership development. You can see what challenges you've worked through, what patterns keep appearing, and how your approach has evolved. Solomon also references your previous sessions when they're relevant to your current situation.
Solomon adapts to your environment and preferences.
Solomon automatically switches between light mode (during the day) and dark mode (in the evening) based on your local time. If you prefer one mode regardless of time, tap the theme toggle button in the top bar to cycle through: Auto, Light, or Dark. Your preference is saved for your next session.
Open Solomon, enter your access code, and begin your first coaching session. Solomon is here whenever you need him.
